Palmer Package Consisting Of:
Gonstead
After a complete analysis, an adjustment will be delivered if necessary. The Gonstead adjustment is as specific, precise and accurate as possible, addressing only the problem areas.
Diversified
The most commonly used adjustment technique; the objective is to restore proper movement and alignment of spine and joint dysfunction. It utilizes adjustments by hand that usually result in joint cavitation (a pop).
Thompson
This low-force method uses a special table with several segments called drop pieces. These segments are propped up a fraction of an inch so that when the thrust is delivered, the table drops slightly, assisting the thrust while minimizing the force used for the adjustment.
Other Wilmington DE Chiropractic Techniques:
Activator
This low-force technique uses a hand-held tool used to deliver a gentle adjustment. The activator protocol analyzes leg-length inequality to identify issues with body mechanics and neurological irritations.
Flexion / Distraction
This low-force technique is primarily used in treating cervical and lumbar disc and non-disc spinal disorders. This adjustment is utilizing a special table on which the spine is tractioned and flexed forward to increase mobility of spinal joints.
Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT)
Low-force, slow-pressure type of adjustment used to address joint problems identified in the pelvis and neck.
Traction
Traction therapy is the leading gentle non-invasive, non-surgical alternative for problems caused by spinal compression. Disc herniations or bulges, "pinched nerves", and degeneration can all benefit from traction therapy.
